Bespoke, individual and unique. Tailored for you, your loved ones & your family.

It is my privilege to craft, officiate and deliver the following services.

Cremation.

The cremation service will be written to what family and friends would wish to include. This can be a eulogy, readings, poetry, prayers and music. There is an opportunity for quiet reflection before the committal and closing words.

This can also include a direct cremation. Performed with all the care and dignity of a traditional cremation but with no service at the crematorium. This leaves the family free to arrange the tribute however and whenever they wish.

Memorial.

A memorial is a time that's set aside for friends and family to pay respects to the person who has died. Many families host the Memorial Gathering before or even instead of a funeral service. Even though the body isn't present, a Memorial Gathering provides a sense of closure to friends and family. The service can include readings, poetry and music.

Burial.

A burial may take place in a cemetery or graveyard. The service can take place at a hotel before moving to the burial ground for committal or the whole service can be at the graveside.

The service may include music, hymns, poems and readings from friends and family.

Interment of Ashes

After the cremation, the ashes will be collected, stored and given to the family. A separate interment of ashes service can then take place with family and friends gathering at the burial plot. The interment service can include a eulogy, readings and prayers.

Scattering of Ashes.

Many people now prefer to scatter the ashes of their loved one in a place that has a special meaning and is of significance. There are many ways and places to scatter the ashes of your loved one. Ashes can be scattered almost anywhere in the UK, as long as you have permission from the landowner first. If you are thinking about scattering ashes at sea or on a river, you don't need a permit, but you should follow the Environment Agency's guidance.

Living Eulogy.

Many people wish to plan their own funerals to have their wishes carried out when they die. They also want to save their loved ones having to make difficult decisions at a time of great distress. I will help to create a service that you would want and when the time comes promise to deliver it your way.
